Another entry, I made... enough lucky I was to be able finish on last day! idk.
yet another 100% traditional media drawn picture. colored pencils and watercolor paints as always.
if anyone is curious about the concept of that colossus, shortly: I thought to put new element of representing flying/sky creature- instead of typical feathers and wings or birdy elements- what about the poles? Or objects where flying creatures do love? poles always gave me so much to think about birds in real world. That creature is actually cloudy/misty surrounded beast as "home" of flying creatures- sky (clouds), poles (where they rest or observe), some old columns and bridge (as well that place is dominated by birds so no wonder why there is lot's of bird shit!). Air colossus is a massive beast (interpretation of colossus is more rather of massive monster) which is "home" of all air creatures where they rest, live, breed and protect that holy monster. That Air colossus is aimlessly wandering through the sky wasteland.
This reminds me vaguely of Salvador Dali's work, with the overly-exaggerated and impossibly thin limbs supporting such a massive body. Incredible piece.
What is it exactly is happening on the bottom in the midground?
Is that a fin that is gouging up the soil or is it more of some kind of attack?
My God...
