I've been so productive lately, in meaning mostly in between major artwork (important projects, special personal work or commissions) every free time I've spent doing smaller work. Wow it feels awesome to have productive kick!
I haven't drawn a pokemon fanart since long time or any fanart in general... and no, technically I am not fan of eeveelutions, but I do like jolteon because I've been playing (from my mind onto drawings) "dog shows" for dog-looking like pokemons. I know, don't laugh! And eevee is just random.
And so here we go, we got a nice working physical outlook of jolteon to get healthy and nice bloodline of Jolts, hooray!
The original sketch is for sale on auction! Please post your bid offer by giving a comment reply HERE: Serious bidders: [link] It's done by pencil on thick 9x12 inch strathmoore paper. Highlights are obviously done by digital. Auction ends at October 8th (Monday).
This is amazing <3 I have played pokemon since it was created. Eevee has and always will be my favourite pokemon, and it's involve forms. I couldn't picture an Eevee or Jolteon in any other realistic kind of way. Again, this is so awesome!
Very nice use of values in the shading, but it seems that your anatomy needs quite a bit of work. Most notably in the paws and legs, where muscle definition is strained and the bones appear much more lanky than they should be. The back legs of the jolteon for example have too much of a bend, where a dog would stand with its legs more stretched to maintain proper balance rather than bending at the knee so much for the show-dog stance. The phalanges in the paws are not properly arranged; the way they go over the carpal pad of the forepaw seems incorrect and needs refining. I also think that the character's original personalities should be promoted some more over the style and musculature, but that's subjective. Otherwise, it's a pretty decent sketch.
