Speedpaint 1

a pre-painting of a large painting concept which I want to do at some point in the future.
I'm doing an 1-2 hour speed paints on 5x7 or any small formats to build up a concept idea into small simplied illustration- if I find liking, I tend to create a huge, detailed painting with care and precise.
for the information, i know there are a lot of "mistakes" here but that's why it's just a pre-painting. I'm just sharing a small stuff which I am experimenting and art behind the scenes.

i have in my mind of Skoll and Hati as stone statues- Skoll representing a molten walnut stone statue and Hati as solid, crystallized gray stone statue to reflect the idea of moon and sun. A mark on heaven representing the blood of Ragnarok (it will be definitely re-designed, what i used here is just random) on bleeding sky.... idk. I'll probably change the entire idea.

I have a lot of health issues and stress right now that I have a hard time to draw, at least I'm not able to paint large paintings. My back aches and migraines every day does not allow me to work properly when i sit. Right now I'm working on sketch commissions and I'm only able to do speedpaints/pre-paintings like that at the moment.
