Spiritual tree by Exileden Spiritual tree by Exileden
This is really a miniature painting of a tree where I based my studies.... I painted entire picture outside being in the woods.

I went for hiking into nature, took some art supply, blanket, water and fruits for snacking- and went for hiking by bike into wood valleys.

It was so beautiful, crazy valleys were surrounded with so many plants, greens, trees, bushes and... loads of spider webs which activated my terrible arachnophoby :D

I sat down and started painting. My paint bottles were layed on moss. It was so much fun and I did lots of real life painting for my personal growth and study.

Trees are indeed a huge trick to paint and they are absolutely never brown in the woods... well really it depends.

Then I let myself imagination to carry more into a tiny fantasy piece. I added a ghost fox seeking for his place to find peace to rest.

Later I will add more photos of WIP'ing in woods! :]

That original picture for sale if anyone is interested.
Picture is about of postcard size.

beautiful painting C:
I've been wanting to do a little art-hike-adventuring like this for awhile... such a great idea! And it really looks like it works- there is a lot of life in this work :)

Ooh, this is a really nice piece of work, I love the tree especially, the details on the trunk are very elaborate and the white lighting was a nice touch.

I need to do live studies more. XD This is so great! The main problem bits for me are paws, rocks and trees. THEY HATE US.

It's so awesome that you did it while being in the forest! I'm always thinking about doing that, but I can't really kick myself out of the room.. nature inspires me greatly :) I can see the spirit of nature in your picture.. It's just breathtaking :3

It was really easy to get out- get a bike, pack your art supply to backpack (I got paints wrapped in plastic bag, A4 size paper where I can pack easily, water in bottle, wrappers and a cup for water), get some snacks and blanket to relax in the woods. In Poland our woods are very pure and wild, I was very far away from people within my loneliness :D It was absolutely amazing and inspiring!

Well then, I think I have some plans for next weekend! Hope it doesn't rain much..Just need to put a note on the wall so I won't forget about it :D Maybe this will help out with inspiration.. lately have been pretty empty.
You're from Poland? Have been watching you for five years but didn't know that .. my bad .. I'm from Lithuania  I always thought that you're from Greenland because of your dog and your front page.
Oh an I was that random awkward person who asked you how to draw paws on your livestream >.<

I'm not really coming from Poland because of my lifestyle is a "Gypsy lifestyle"- that means I travel and live nearly everywhere, a'la cosmopolitian lifestyle :P
So I dont consider myself from "that" country, even through that I was born in Rhode Island. I have Finnish ancestry (and my last name is) and my parents live in Poland currently. During childhood I lived in couple countries.

So I don't have really any roots bonded to a country, my passion of living everywhere is chasing my inner soul but I'd say closest places for me are Poland (been raised there for long time and because of my family and most of close people I know), USA (born there and been raised, now I plan future there) and Scandinavia... I feel there my ancestry.

And I'm sorry, on LS I hardly read or respond on comments on chat because I had to set up my laptop laying down where everyone could see what I am drawing which that kind of setting gives me nearly impossible access to type or even look at conversation >: I'd love to talk with people on chat, otherwise.
