It's the most unique and legendary highway known as "7C road" also named as Transfagarasan highway, where human's power meet with the nature. That highway goes very high through alp peaks (close to...). It's a very emotional and adrenaline-like highway to drive. Photo obviously flattens it's dimension but in real life feels... extremely high, scary and feeling to not "fall" from twisty roads at edges. Some roads on turns does not have barriers. The views are extremely impressive.
Unfoertunately it's not the best photo. I mean, I did MY BEST out of NOT good weather/lightning conditions of that trail. I terribly hate fully sunlight weathers for photography where the contrast of lightning and shadows is way too extreme and flattens all colors. My camera went crazy because did not know where to focus: on shadowed areas or highlighted. I really hoped for a cloudy day to take photographs of this trail's landscape but eh... :/. I did my best with that disgusting contrast of lights by my A77 camera... Sun, please go away!
Looks like more like a scribble than a road! Wouldn't want anyone just learning to drive to have a their test on that road.
Regardless of the difficulties you had, this is a wonderful photo Good job.
And I totally understand where you're coming from about really sunny days. Best time to go out is around sunrise or sunset
It's a nice photo to study aerial perspective, I'd say.
The height of natures extremes are always so amazing to experience for me
if you can't really capture that sort of extremity within a landscape or its dramatic values,
usually a human subject can make all the difference, or a man made object like a coffee mug
This place is awesome.
I suppose that the sun did little to detract from this photograph. Its direct rays are only visible in a small part of the frame and I find them enlivening.
