Why did I change my username? 'Atlantaya' was more than just a name for me; it used to ignite the idea of creating art while sailing around the Atlantic Ocean. My art aimed to catalyse how the nature of the Atlantic could be an amazing source of inspiration. I had a broader vision of creating a platform (an idea born during the pandemic) to help inspire artists to step out of their homes and paint in nature. However, it never materialized as I was tied up with clients on a boat. Everything changed on the day when my partner tragically passed away at sea, and my project was discontinued and my activity got idle. Now, I create art in the studio as I did in the past, and it doesn’t make sense to use that name anymore. I realized that I should never have changed my original name, 'PearlEden,' as it would have been easier for everyone.
