Fantasy Flight

Extended speedpaint commission for Gewalgon  of their heavenly dragon species where my task was to catch the "feeling" of flight. Freedom. The moment of enjoyment of flight. Adrenaline. Flying, leaving all worries behind back while feeling the wind blowing on face. 

Honestly, this commission took me far on my personal feelings where I used to question at what I am really good. And where I feel happy and myself.
I love to be a free soul.

My health issues took away my deepest dreams, many things that I really dream to do and I feel like I'm truly good at- will not happen on this life. Maybe in my another life I can realize my dreams since my physical existence (body) is damaged in way that nothing can be fixed and prisons my soul.

I had a dream where I was hanging out with my friends. Most of my friends that I hung, were types of pursing their dreams. They were so amazing and did a lot of amazing stuff. And I've been told by them that I can't. There are many things I cant do and I suck. I felt deprived in myself.
But the only thing that I feel really good and I can fully accomplish is mushing. To be exact, even more unique form of mushing- it's skijoring, as freestyle mushing.

I hook up my skis, sled dogs and started roaming on amazing speed on the surface of lakes. I felt free. That was my flight.

My sport. My enjoyment. My way to release all of my self-doubts.
