Description
Since yesterday I got my copy of pokemon Y version and I'm so excited! I never felt so excited before, B&W was kinda borking in comprasion. And so far, I love that fact I am finally to enjoy a brand new game without having too many spoilers unlike the past gens, where they were extremely overexposed with spoilers.
I'm personally impressed and I feel that legendaries are very much heavily based on Norse mythology, whether they did intentionally or not. Yveltal is very much representation of Ragnarok, a doomsday and "rage of the gods". Xerneas seems to be Yggdrasil and while... what's funny, I very, very and very much knew that third legendary is going to be snake-like beast after release of Y and X legendaries. Definitely Zygarde remind me of Midgard Serpent/Jörmungandr which is also often represented earth snake or world.
Interesting fact goes that is Ground/Dragon type, that both Yveltal's type is immune to Ground and Xerneas' is immune to Dragon, though his ability breaks down that. He is representing sort of "Order" power. Maybe sort controlling system of whole world? Keeping Destruction and Life in balance?
Ah and that's a WIP/speedpaint image- I'd love to do a full picture of Zygarde if my time allows!
This creature look so awesome!
